Deer Lake as always is very productive. Located down stream from Coffee Pot Lake it produces some extrodinary trout either by fishing from shore or from a boat.It really dosnt matter what you use everyone limits out here.I showed up around 6AM and limited by 7AM,pretty quick and I fish from shore.This lake also has alot of good large mouth bass.Dont bring your big boats with big motors.The boat ramp is 3% and 50ft long and dug up. Most people bring row boats or canoes so the easy to get in and out. From Spokane take hwy 2 to davenport,turn left at Safeway go to Harrington turn right on coffee pot rd. go 14 miles to Zagelow rd.go to where rd makes a hard right.There by the farmers house is a dicy dirt road going off to the lake(close cattle gate behind you)from west side go hwy 90 to hwy 21 north to Odessa,Pass thru Odessa and make a right on Coffee pot rd.Then right on Zagalow rd as you come to the where the road turns left you will see the dicy dirt road. dont take a car here. But any pickup or suv will make it fine.Good camping to be found.Please dont leave litter because this lake is privatly owned and the owner is nice enough to let the public fish here.

uhh so fishing report? how many fish, what kind, how big? why would we go if we dont know whats there?

I might add that Deer Lake is down about 25 feet from full pool and the bass and crappie fishing has suffered greatly. Perch and sunfish are pretty much gone. Please catch and release bass and crappie here as the numbers have dwindled rapidly the past few years since the lake has begun to dry up.
