Hit Fishtrap for the first time with a co-worker who graciously entertained on his boat. Fished from about 9am to 5:30pm and landed 7 fish. We probably hooked onto another 5 or so for varying amounts of time. The fish were all 11"-15" and great looking for the BBQ but nothing to write home about. We had to work hard for these guys and I'm not talking about all the bicep curls we did throughout the day! Supposedly bottom fishing from the boat with garlic power bait is the way to go but we tried that a couple hours and didn't even get a nibble. Make sure you fish legal too, as we were cecked by some staters and saw them cart off a couple guys! All in all it was a gorgeous day and lake and I will likely come back, but it isn't a priority from todays showing.
