The smaller fish are definitely on the move now that the water termperature is 69.6-70.6 degrees.
Interesting that the big LMB we found last week were missing in action this week. It was a sunny day with a very light breeze.

We fished from 11am-3:30pm. The lures and baits that were great last week were almost useless today. I used spinner baits, spoons, jigs, plastic worms and an assortment of crankbaits. One small LMB came on the spoon and the rest on various crankbaits. I caught and released 8 bass and 1 pumpkinseed.

P. was the body-count winner having boated 39 fish using mostly worms and a beetle spin. But K. wins the big fish prize. Trolling back to the boat ramp he landed a 16" rainbow on a Salmo and caught and released 17 fish total.

Happy Fourth of July!
