Got to the lake about 8:00 am and started the kids trolling from the launch toward the middle. First one was hooked up within a few minutes and it remained steady for the next couple hours. The sun was shining and there was no wind until about 11:00. The ski boats were not too bad for a sunny holiday. We stopped after ten kokanee and two trout. Several got off the hook and we threw back a few small ones. All keepers were about 12 inches.

We used pop gear with wedding rings and a little worm but also had stikes with no worms. Green wedding rings worked best. Fish seemed to range from the surface down to about ten feet. We even saw some jumpers and one crazy one that jumped about ten times in a row! After the wind came up, the fishing slowed down so we hung it up and went home. All and all a great day for the kids to catch fish.

I got there at about 430pm. It was slow but still got a few nice ones!
