Took my 13 yr old grandson with the pontoons to Rotary, pond 1, pond 4 and Myron, mostly to avoid crowds. Pond 4 was a bit crowded, but the rest were okay. Had a mini tournament with the final numbers at 137 and 98. We won't embarrass anyone with who caught the most. Most were small, but great fun on ultralight. We only counted the ones over 7", because the littlest ones were too many to count. He had fun, and I had fun watching him have fun. I did catch 2 decent largemouth (3 and 4.2 lbs), which were also fun on ultralight. Every fish was caught on freestyle jigs, with worm tips. 2 trout each, a microcatfish (he was proud of that one). Very few crappie, but one went 12". Haven't found the big numbers of crappie this year in the ponds like last year.

May the Lord bless your trips with safety, fun, and a few fish, and may those fish pull the boat down to 2" of freeboard!

Wishin' you were fishin' Jiggy?
Soon as you can.

Rocky? Fighter or is that the structure you prefer? Yeah, a lot of it went private, but there are still some good spots. God bless you two, too. Still some bass in the tanning booth. Tried topwater a bit today. Nothing big, but still fun.
