Got to Pine Lake around 7:00 am this morning to find that there were already 4 people fishing, but none of them looked to be having any luck. My buddy and I set up our lines with neon hooks with 2 pink power eggs just above the hook, accompanied by green power bait and a night crawler on the hook. Fishing was very sloow..no bites for about the first hour and 45 min or so. My buddy had no luck, but I had some begginers luck, and caught a 9"-10" Rainbow Trout, which ended up being the only action amongst all of the 7 or 8 people on the dock. Also, we saw a couple of eagles which was very cool, but unfortunately we also saw a baby duckling get caught on an old fishing line and hook. Thankfully, there was a man who saw it right away and he was able to free the duckling off the hook before he got too injured, so I think he should be ok. We ended up leaving at about 9:45 beacause the action was so slow.
