7/12/2011 1:44:00 PMI have noticed that hatchery reared rainbow stockers in lowland lakes are especially susceptible to skin parasites, likely because of the cramped conditions they were raised in. Generally, cutthroats are native and not planted, while kokanee are planted as fry, giving copepods less time to infest the population.
