7/14/2011 3:32:00 PMThey make good crab/crayfish bait. Also, you can use strips of them to bait your lures for cutts and macks.
FYI - As well as having a small mouth and a bit more color than squawfish, peamouth are relatively small fish, reaching about 11" to 12" max. The state record weighed in at just a hair over 1lb.
