I ventured out to angle lake today about 5pm prepaired to fish by my self but ended up asking a older gentalman who was alone fishing off the dock if he wanted to go trolling around the lake for some kokes and he said hell yes! The fish were biting right away, i got my first two fish within 15min of picking him up, but then i must have lost about ten fish in a row right at the boat which was a bummer. My fishing partner was having no luck at all. I tried to get him to change his setup to what i was using but he didnt want too, he said he didnt care if he caught a fish he just thought it was great to be out on the water. We ended up getting off the water at about 7pm, me with my limit of kokes and him with nothing but a good boat ride and a friend.

That's cool. I picked up two bank fishermen in my Driftboat one morning on the Skykomish several years back and caught 3 nice Sleelhead right away. Good luck i guess.

around how deep do you think they were? I live just a stones throw from there and only discovered it when spending some time with a friend and her sons 10 days or so ago.

I have found that most kokanee are deep around 25 - 35ft. I use a down rigger set to 30 ft to get me to the right depth. I use a flasher and wedding ring with corn or maggots which seems to do the trick.
