Hit the lake around 730, and ran over to Crab Creek. Caught 4 right off the bat, and then somone threw the switch off, never got a nother hit until 1:00. In the matter off an 30 minutes we hooked up 6 fish and only boated 1, but it was a nice one, 25". Looked to me, the bite was very early, sun-up to about 930,after that you will have to start hunting. When you find them stick close , the afternoon bite was in a VERY small area, about the size of a truck bed, thank god for GPS tracking! All fish were caught in 10 FOT or less, boat speed 1.0-1.5 mph. Oh ya! If your fishing thin wire hooks like the "slow death" check your hook gaps after a snag, wish I had, earlier than I did! Might have meant a few more in the boat!

Yup, they do bend easily! We found the same thing yesterday. One tiny spot with a ball of fish.

I wish now we had anchored up and pitch jigs into the area, oh well next time...
