Arrived at lake, water was smooth as glass, a little wore out from fishing late last night.
Lauched boat at 6:45am, barely eased the boat onto concrete ramp and pulled way up in parking lot. Spent about 4 minutes in truck looking for camera and other items needed, Stepped out of truck headed for boat, then noticed boat had floated out about 20 ft. No other boats around, panic for a minute, boat is drifting farther away, panic again, stripped down to shorts and fortunetly had on colored skivs, now boat was 40 ft. out. Swim out to retrieve boat. Quickly
re-dress tossing wet speedo in boat. Fished down to park and partial east side, one stike only. Raining and wet again, loaded up, turned heater on high and headed to Benson.
Dried out,
Hit Benson lake about 2pm, caught and released 2 and had several strikes.
There were a big pair of loons, could hear them worboling all across the lake.
