Had an hour to kill with some relatives in tow, so decided to paddleboat on Green Lake. And, if I am on the water, I WILL be fishing. Me and my bro-in-law paddled away while I drug a big kastmaster, with a green stripe, and a full nightcrawler on the hooks. After about 20-30 minutes, I get that tug on the line we all love, starting a fight with a 12 inch bow. Got him to hand, took a pic, then revived him, and released him. He was hooked nicely in the front of the lower jaw. It was a nice suprise to get that action, in the middle of a warm afternoon. Many other paddleboaters out, fought a decent breeze, but no shell rowers out to dodge, thank goodness.
