Went fishing with kwcc. Went to larson cause we knew Seafair would mess up our chances of catching a SM on LW. My parents dropped us off at maybe 5PM. I tried everything to catch anythin anything. I threw rattle traps and topwaters on my baitcasting reel and crappie jigs suspended 12inches under a float tube on a panfish spinning reel. Nothing. Round 7PM kwcc pulled out a dink LM on a white buzzbait. Round 7:50PM I finally pulled out a crappie. It was round 8-10 inches. Soon after crappie fishing started heating up I was getting pull downs on the jig every cast. I wish those crappie didn't have such soft mouths. I mised a couple nice crappie on pull downs from ripping the hook out of there mouths. I must of missed atleast 5 fish total. kwcc pulled out a nice 12-13inch crappie less than a foot of shore.(I'm sure he will post a report with the pic of his nice crappie. I pulled out a few more small crappie before sunset and 15 mins after sunset our parents picked us up and we left. Red and white crappie jig suspended a foot under a cork on the edge of the lilly pads seemed to intice the crappy really nicely.

Good on you, when your after Crappie your on their time.. Try pulling your knot toward the back of the hook on every cast or at least check before casting. That way the jig will sit as near horizontal as possible and you will get more hookups. If the jig is draggin it's butt, no good...
