My family and I camped out at swift creek camp ground pulled in late thursday night and the next mornting fought for a camp site. Well didnt really fight talked to some that were moving out of a first come first serve site. I asked if I could move in and by the time I got the motor home and boat someone was in it. We got one and fish hard sat and sun morning with no luck not even a bite. I changed flashers/dodgers leader lenghts all different set ups and depths with no luck. I went from 25-65 ft on 3 rods with not takes. I used sand shrimp, raw prawn and a cured prawn in a jar. I seen Rseas out sunday good to see you could make it out. Just before we spoke briefly my batteries died on me and I had to use my motor and it didnt want to idle. We didnt fish much longer after that and packed her up and went home. Motor homes are nice you can just pull in even up and sleep but you have to move it to put in a boat. Had to un hook and rehook. Without a dock would have made it harder. It was fun with the great weather we had all weekend Thought in 2 days we could have put a fish in the cooler.

John, I'm so sorry. I didn't have my glasses on and didn't recognize you. And then, normally I would recognize the boat, but yours seems to have changed quite a bit from last time I saw it. If I had recognized you and the gang I would have pulled up along side, said hi and admired the new top. I feel really bad and was not being anti-social. So I do apologize to you and your boat mates.

We struggled a little on Sunday also so don’t feel bad. Just keep after it and they will come.

I got up there late sunday also. Didn't have a bite all day. I talked with the F & W checker and he said that out of 200+ boats they only checked in 10 that had any fish. It wasn't just you but everybody having a rough day.

Fishin has been tough for a lot of people. Iv stuck with my smiley blade setups with a shrimp tail and smelly jelly and it continues to put limits in the boat. Its weird how many people cant get into them when a few are slayin them. Keep it up and it will pay off

Oh no problem Randy I didnt want do bug your fishing too much. IM sure we will meet again. I wont give it up just bums you out a bit. IM sure I will try to get up there one more time but I think I need to hit Lk Stevens or Cavanaugh and get the stink off my boat first. Thanks all tight lines
