Went to Clear lake for the first time and stayed at Dans Landing Saturday night. Got up at first light Sunday morning, wandered down to the fishing dock, made my first cast, and BAM! 16" Rainbow before I could get a sip of coffee. It took a while to get a line back in because the glutton had swallowed the hook and I had to retie! After that people started showing up and the bites were spread around but several nice fish were landed. When my wife finally got up and going, we headed out in the boat and caught a couple more Bows before lunch. Went back out for the early evening bite with a little advice from Dan and picked up a few more Bows and one Brown. None were as big as the first but were a healthy 10-12" and the advice was spot on.

Long story short, enjoyed Dans Landing and Clear lake a lot!
