When we got to the lake the dock was full, so we walked to the wooded southend of the park to try some lillypad luring. On my third cast I pulled out a 16 inch large mouth bass. First fish i've gotten in 20 years,(just started again last week). This guy was fat and full of fight. About an hour or so later my nephew, fishing straight off the end of the dock caught an 11inch rainbow. I love this lake. My new home away from home.

Not Perfect, but still very nice. Found old lines in the water from other people fishing, but still a great pace to go. Clean your crap out people.:)

You said, "Species targeted... Other" What were you targeting?

@The Quadfather : We really did not have a species specific plan. I had read the article on this site as a featured lake and we tried to prepare for everything. I'm sorry for not being more specific, but we really were just kind of checking it out.

It's a good little lake for crayfish too! My 24 year old step son and I found a tin can tied to a railing on the dock that was full of really nice sized crayfish inside.
