Decided to try Island Lake for the first time today. I'll definetely be back, but on a day that isn't as sunny. One wakeboarder turns that lake into a washing machine quickly! Anyhoo, I ended up boating three largemouth, none being anything to brag about. One on a bomber crank and two on dropshotted sniper lures. Also landed a mess of perch. I once again tried punchin' and froggin', and I once again struck out. I think the only thing that was interested was the bullfrogs. Oh well, I'll figure it out one of these days. Left around 3 due to gale force winds. All in all a good day tryin' out a new lake, I'll have to return. Tight Lines!
