I got to American Lake at a little after 5am and realized I can’t go fishing until it gets light. So just before 6am I launched. My brother and Pink Pole were in another boat. They got one fish. About 10 minutes after launching I have my first fish. It was not fast and furious but I got my limit in about an hour and a half. These fish were 13 inches but hefty. Twice I thought I had weeds but it was a fish. I used yellow Seps dodger that glows and a new orange beaded lure with a fire tiger blade I made up. Green maggots and corn was bait. I got the fish from 25-31 feet down in 59-65 feet of water. The lake was very calm without a breeze.

Nice catch and on a very very nice morning. I was out Tuesday 0600am and was 32' ft down in 70' of water with a troll speed of 0.6 - 0.9 mph. Caught 4 in three hours using green fire corn and gulp maggots. Bahama Mamma and green/purple wedding ring, pink koke-a-nut, and a pink doubble wammy wedding ring made things happen. Very nice day with calm water.
