As with MuskyHunter's report previously, there was a mission to complete and was it ever completed.
7AM on the water. 4 other boats that we could see and none of them musky fishing. About an hour into it, we had moved to 2 different spots with no sights or follows. Color change and a new shore line netted the first strike. 31x10. Nothing huge, but it's still a Tiger. Carefully handled, pictured and released to grow up.
New area...hit the point...BANG!!! Fish #2. 33-34" fish that didn't like the sight of a net or the bucktail in his mouth. Full body eruption from the water with his mouth open sent the bucktail back into the boat with me ducking for cover from the 2/0 treble.
Same went for fish #3 and 4. Work a weedline to a point and it was game on. Although the last fish I may have "stolen" from MuskyHunter. He had just made a figure 8 at the boat and I was mid retrieve. When my bucktail got to the boat, this fish exploded from underneath the boat and made mince meat of my bait.
Insane time on the water. ANYONE looking to get into some action should get with him and get on the water. Period. First pic is of the 31x10. The second is of a 29x10. Again...nothing huge, but excellent fish.
