We took a gang up to Rufus to see what's happenning. We trolled the can line with one little fish lost. We plucked a couple from around Pump Station #1. We snicked a couple out of the area around the Timm's Ranch launch, then rounded out the bag with a few more up around the lower net pens. Tossing Worden Lures 1/4 oz Super Roostertails and trolling Pautzke's Firebait is what worked best, but we tried a bunch of stuff...

We saw a variety of waterfowl, deer, a couple of coyotes, a Golden Eagle and even a river otter during our travels up there. What a great place to fish. Wow! Are those fish great on the grill!
