Arrived at the public dock between 11-12 and threw out the Rapala. (just your basic black and gold - size 7) I caught a small bass on my third cast. That one really attacked the lure. Casted for another 30 minutes without luck, then decided to try a wacky senko. I threw out the senko a few feet in front of the dock to see if everything looked right. A bass seemed to think so and swallowed it real fast. (Pic 1) It was a decent size, nothing extraordinary but much better than the first fish. Sorry for the picture. I was by myself and had trouble getting that fish to cooperate with my photography.
The rain started so I left the public dock and went to my friend's dock on the other side of the lake. (The dock in the background of youshhucks crappie picture) I tried the rapala again but switched quickly to a plastic grub. Brought in a bass (picuture 2) on my first cast. Fought really well. Started rain more and I left.
