I wanted Sandy to experience our September fishing at the pens for rainbows and quickly catch some fish. We made the run from the State Park to the lower pens. The scenery was enjoyable and the fish were cooperative. We fished rainbow Firebait from Pautzke's on slip sinker rigs and quickly pounded out our 2 fish limits. Big fish was 5 lbs.

We made the run back, filleted fish and had time for a pre lunch nap back at the park. What a great lunch, grilled triploids, salad and an adult beverage! Bridgeport State Park is a beautiful place to stay.
