Today we Fished at and around Rock Point to have a great 4 hours of Mackinaw Catching and Loosing:) The Ace Hi-Fly again was the Bait of Choice..I just want to say if there was an Award that was given to the Best Trolling Fly on the Market- The Ace Hi-Fly would be the winner Hands Down here on Lake Chelan. The "Key Component" to having Success while fishing the Ace is, that you have got to keep the bait right next to the bottom at all times. I used to say, keep your trolling speed between 1.2 and 1.4 mph, but I have been playing around with my speed with the Ace and have found that Speed is not as crutial with the Ace as it is with the Flatfish or Spoons. The Laketrout here will hit the Ace at faster speeds and at slower Speeds. Just want all to know that I have Started a "Facebook Friends Fall Special".
