This was my first time out after the Perch on Sammamish.
Fished the south end in 42' from 10:00am -1:00pm.
What a HOOT!
We got 33 perch and were also surprised with 3 bright Cutthroat Trout that were all 16"+. Those 3 Cutts were fun to catch on the 4 1/2 foot ultralite rods.
The perch were super light biters, so I needed to use my kokanee night-fishing technique in order to feel the fish onto the hook.
Started with a worm, but then switched to perch belly-meat.
Am open to any advice if there might be a way to get the perch to bite more agressively. But hey, I'm not complaining.
Dave
