Jeff Frey came out to fish with me on Small Business Saturday with his kids, Melanie (19) and son, Rhyce (13) along with Rhyce's friend Bryce Todd. It was a very pleasant late November day with temps mostly in the low 40's. We plunked a fish on the bar, another in the indeterminate flat, another in the potholes and continued to do so all the way down the South Shore from Sunnybank to Pat & Mikes. While there were no real hot spots, it was definitely excellent fishing. Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squidder baited with a chunk of Northern Pikeminnow was the most productive, but Worden Lures U20 flatfish in purple glow was very productive too. We caught a couple of Fish on a Silver Horde Ace Hi Fly rigged with a big smile blade in front. The cherry on top of the morning was a beautiful Lake Chelan landlocked Chinook Salmon that came on the Cha Cha. What a great day to get rid of the turkey hangover!
