Al S's buddy woke up ill but he was good to go. We prospected around, but the trench produced most of the fish including a beautiful Chinook. As always, we worked the bottom 5 to 10 feet of the water column. The two teens and two twenties worked best. Slowing the speed down to about 1.2 seemed to trigger bites. Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squidder in green glow was definitely the most popular lure for the morning. That stinky uplake breeze made naked hands get pretty cold even though the air temp was above freezing. It was a great morning of fishing.
