I had the pleasure to fish out of my buddy Jerrys heated boat. I'd never have lasted all day otherwise. We fished it hard. Fourth boat in at the Corps. launch in the morning & last ones off! Maybe we spent too much time in the wrong spots? We fished around pump 3. We ran four poles at all times. Typically 2 on the down riggers 5-15Ft. & 2 flat lined. We used Flies, Needle Fish, Rapalas & Wedding rings behind dodgers of various sizes. We used multiple colors as well. I C&Rd 4 small fish 12-16" & kept a 5#8 Oz. criple that looked like a male Humpy! And I broke 1 fish off! Arg***!!!! Jerry on the other hand only managed to salvage the day in the last five minutes of daylight at the can line. His is the nice lookin' one with a tail & fins! A slow but rewarding start to 2012! Tight lines & Happy new year to all.

Any. Man it's nice to see that you got out on the water and at least put some fish in the boat! I'll send you some of my GerMin Custom Lures hand poured Hellgamites to try on those Triploids. Last year with Lewis around this same time, we boated 23 fish by the lower pens. my biggest went 8 lbs. Most of my fish came on a 3" brown bug hellgramite on a 1/16th oz jighead. Take care buddy. Hey Lewis, I wish I would have taken a girth measurement on the shorty. It was actually 6 oz. heavier than the pretty one! It was great to get out.
