This report is abit late, however better late then never.
The last week of 2011 was well spent on Lake Sammamish.
Most years I would spend the month of December down on the Old Nisqually River
chasing Chum salmon with my spey and tube flies.
This year was abit different as I had a hard time getting back into the fishing mood.
I lost my father in september and fishing didn't seem the same without him.

I want to thank Keith, Corey and my nephew Wesley for the best memories of the year.
We landed some beautiful Sea Run Cutthroat and shared memories that will last a lifetime.

Now that I have all that out the way on with the report.

The fish seem to be on the move. we had to search the lake each day to find them.
One day they were on the north end of the lake and the next day the bite was on near the weather station.

One this particular day Wesley lanaded the larger Cutt measuring 18 3/4 in.
The fish and game recorded all of our fish and stated that wesley's fish was the largest he had recorded this season.

We had limits and most fish were 2yr fish.
The bait of choice was a UV doger and Keith's Fancy tolled at 1.5 to 2 mph.

Tight lines to everyone for 2012.
