I hit Roses Lake this afternoon with a good friend. Weather had me wondering a couple of times if I was right in the head. Mostly heavy snow that melted when it landed on you making us wet. The ice was running about six inches covered with two inches of hard crust and about three inches of slush between the two which made for some interesting "Am I going to break through moments" Catching was OK except the Rainbows were all less than ten inches. We limited in about an hour using pink and rainbow power bait and watched several other fishermen do the same.
