Great fishing and excellent weather today on Lake Chelan!! We hit the lower basin bright and early this morning pulling Ace Hi-flys and moonshine spoons through the trench. The bite started off kinda slow, but as soon as we found em' it was game on! We found most of our fish between 170 and 240 feet of water trolling between 1.2 and 1.4 mph. Like usual the Hi-Fly was responsible for most of the action. I was accompanied today by two great fishermen, Bernie Johnson and Frank Gilson, who brought along some of their jigging gear. When we found a break in the action we dropped on a few jig holes and managed to catch a few fish that way too. Today I actually caught my first Burbot! Awesome day, thanks guys!

I'm headed to Mexico on vacation, so this might be my last report for a while, but I'll be back at it as soon as I return... and with a tan!
