2/17/2012 9:27:00 AMHA! oh yea, Fancy, what ever you wana call it, it makes you wonder, and it works. All the fish were in the 15 - 17" range. did not put them on a scale...we start trolling north of weather station and zig zag north. Bite came on after 10 am -2pm

2/19/2012 3:20:00 PMI grew up on Lake Samammish, only moved away 15 years ago. I was hoping to move back to Issaquah someday. When I would fish the lake for cuts, it was a silver/black or trout size 9 Rapala floater. Slow troll with ours, pull once then glide for two, then repeat the process out if front of the Issaquah Creek outlet or where Camp Sambica was. Back then we were pulling 4-6lb cuts out. If anyone ever knew the Salvino's sport shop off Gilman Blvd, behind Denny's. We would take our catch to his shop photo board. Largest cut I had ever seen was 7/3 it looked like a steelhead but it was a cut... Wow I miss Lake Samammish.

Last fall I caught an awesome cut I thought too was a steel head, and many other monster cuts. A nice healthy lake, with healthy fish and a beautiful part of the word. can only imagine what it was like before man...
