2/21/2012 8:48:00 PMLoui,, After getting out there every weekend for the last 2 months i have been trying new things to get the fish to bite. I am getting to know the lower end of the lake. I love jigging and drop shoting for them. I am heading over again Friday and sat. Here is what I do when I smoke them. I use 4 cups of brown sugar to 3/4 cup of salt. Set fish in a cake pan. place brown sugar and salt mix over fish until the are completely covered. let sit over night in the fridge. take fish out and pat dry with paper towels. Then put in the smoker until done.
