My and my buddy trolled around the lake for a few hours today, we trolled Dick nite spoons,wedding rings tipped with power bait,not a damn thing. But my buddy noticed a midge hatch starting and some trout rising in the middle of the lake, he put on a dry fly midge imitation and bang fishon! A l little scrappy 8 incher. I decided to try a new wooly bugger I had tied with a black tail and body and green hackle with a brass bead head. Finally when we were pulling back to the launch I hooked a little trout, very rewarding, my first trout caught on a fly I tied .
