i saw the weather looked decent so i decided to take a stroll over to blackmans, got there about 3pm, fished until 5pm. i used an f3 rapala brook trout colored, and i nailed em. i caught 5 and missed at least a dozen more hits, i ended up catching 4 8" little bait snatchers, and 1 nice 17" fatty; not much of a fight though :/ i released 2 of the baitsnatchers, because they weren't injured, and kept the other 3. side note: the limit is 3 fish at blackmans, i saw some people attempt to keep 5 each, i promptly told them the limit was 3, they argued me, and said "i looked it up online it said 5, its always been 5" i told him that he was bsing, then he gave me this attitude about him fishing this area for 30 years, i left the dock, and moved spots, he and his friend left shortly after, if i saw him catch and keep 1 more fish i was going to call the warden....if i cant keep 5 neither can you, we all pay the same for our licenses. other than that was a nice day..just wish i didnt have to baby sit ignorant people.

Page 27 in the fish and game regulations say 5 trout. How did you come up with 3???????????????????????????
It been 5 trout for a loooooooooong time.

@ troutfanatic spend a little more time reviewing the regs please, ive only lived in this state for not quite 2 years now, and it seems i care more about the fishery than the people that grew up here sometimes, its really sad......the limit is 3, i was around when the change happened....spoke to bob herriman of the snohomish sportsman club, and other people who are involved with the lake...i spend roughly 60-80 days a year fishing this lake alone....trust me the limit is 3. and i dont mean to sound like too much of a jerk, but i like fishing blackmans, and the stock this year has been pathetic thus far...please dont take more than your share so others can enjoy the fishery aswell.....@stirfryfly thank you, i appreciate that.

Sorry about the miss information above, I didnt know it had special regulations. I missed it when I looked it up, getting old. I dont keep fish anyways, so I was never breaking the law.
