The bite was ON today in the lower basin of Lake Chelan! We were on the water and fishing by about 7:30 am this morning and by noon we were headed to the dock with 11 fish! We had some real good ones in the mix too.. Big fish weighing in at 9 lbs 12 oz, and 7 lb 9 oz, with a few more over 5 lbs. We fished mostly on and around Macks bar. Hot bait today was the Ace Hi-Fly baited with a bait strip and my "possibly" new secret recipe.. it hammered em today, but gonna take a few more trips before declaring it a winner! Most productive water was between 140 and 200ft.. kept our speed between 1.3 and 1.4 mph to be successful. Finally a day without wind!! My special rate is still going on for the month of April..
