Took a day off from work to go fishin' with my youngest 2. Woke up to heavy rain that turned to snow. I couldn't leave until 8AM due to being on call.So, my spring break teens got to sleep in.By 9:30 it was sunny and beatiful. We were on our way by 10:30. By the time we launched the wind had picked up. It was coming right off the fresh snow coverred mountains and cold. We tried for Spiny Ray in several spots with worms and jigs. Nada. I asked my boys if they wanted to troll for trout. They each caught and released a fish. I had a bump and that was it. The fish they caught were 10-11"range. I was pulling green and black woolly buggers. They picked 'em up with a raibow colorred Hot shot and rainbow colored Rapala. It was fun to see them catch fish. And even more fun for them to out fish me. Sorry no pics.
