After being skunked at Kress in my last four outings, I finally hit the lake when the trout were interested in biting. We arrived at the lake around 6pm. Thirty minutes later the bite really came on. I was using a size 0 Blue Fox black spinner with a silver blade that was tipped in red.

In a 45 minute period, had 16 hook ups and C&R'd 14. Even caught 3 on 3 consecutive casts. Very good day. It was my first time fishing Kress in the evening, and I'll be trying that again.
