I fished early morning the dock near the boat rentals. I took advantage of the 2 pole endorsment and put one in with powerbait and with the other I was casting a spinner. My old Panther MArtin yellow spinner was the best weapon, I got a small trout and lost 2 others.
However, I belive I was doing something wrong because several times I saw a fish following the spinner but not finishing the move. I tried to vary the retrieve and the depth with no luck. Maybe my line was too thick or the weights too close to the hooks.
No bites on the powerbait but some other guy had 4 trout on powerbait by the time I left. He was casting very far away.
