Well this year, my biggest challenge has been time on the water. I have been to tapps a few times but only for about 1.5 hours at a time with zero bites to show for it. Today I fished for 2 hours. my longest trip this year has only been 3 hours. I got one right at the end of the day on a spinnerbait in about 10 inches of water. I just watched my skirt dissapear so I set. Fish was about 2 lbs. and only bite of the day. I threw a jig, tube and spinnerbait from 0 to around 10ft. weather was nice and stormy. I always seem to catch fish when the weather sucks.
