We all know Eloika gets weed choked in the summer. I think that is why the bass survive there. So the spring fishing is exceptional. I was fishing deep like I was told by an expert with not much luck when I decided to troll. I came across a spot with patchy weeds and caught a small bass. Since the wind began to pick up I anchored the boat and cast. With in one hour I had 15 bass from that spot, one was 23" 7lb.
I also saw about a dozen bass heads on the boat ramp. This lake won't be good for long if that keeps up.
Let em go guys. Buy some fish at the store.
