Our fly fishing guy, Brian Whitney invited me to go give Antilon a shot since the ice was finally off of it. We drug wooly buggers, cone head muddlers and Carey (a plug for Mike) Specials around on full sink lines. It wasn't red hot as we were eliminating water and only fished a couple of hours, but they were nice quality Browns caught on flies. I think the weed edges are best right now. A pretty fast retrieve seemed to be the ticket.

Thanks for the report.
Was that the north lake or south by the dam? Only been there once and could not find a launch area for my pontoon. Looks pretty cold from the photo!!

It was by the north lake. There is a launch in the mid section and a rough ramp at the North End. Never got cold feet or fingers. We put our hoods up against a cool breeze that would blow down our neck.

Only fished that lake one time looking for largemouth bass. I didn't catch any and was wondering if anyone knows if bass are present at Antilon Lake.

It has mostly Brown Trout and Crappie in it.
