4/18/2012 11:54:00 AMSouth of Snag Island. I don't know how good the largemouth population is, but I know the ones caught are usually big. There is no two ways about it, smallmouth are the most often caught. If you want to target largemouth, look for shallow wooded bays once the water temp starts pushing 60 degrees. But I am certainly no pro when it comes to Lake Tapps largemouth. When I come to Tapps I am fishing smallmouth. I have other lakes I fish for largemouth. Hope this helps.
