We fished all over the lake from 7am to 730pm. Hit the shoreline, deep structure, lillies, etc. Saw/heard bass moving around in a few spots, but no takers. Used primarily x-raps, suspending minnows, shallow cranks, plastic worms, and jigs. Not a single taker. However, did get a very large perch (16-18" and nearly 2lbs, no kidding) and a few tiger trout that all hit a silver/white/clear suspending minnow. A few other guys got a few bass, but not us. A new lake for my buddy and I, so we're not too disappointed. Looking forward to warmer days, warmer water, and hot bass fishing!

that is a huge perch that might be a record breaker, did you keep it?

Yes, I did keep it. Filleted it and ate it tonight. It measured 16 and 3/8" (somewhat dried out) and weighed just shy of 2 lbs (again, dry). It was a big female with eggs (thus the extra weight). I just looked up the record, it would have been close, but not enough. Kind of a bummer, but I really didn't think anything of it. Sure tasted great with some roasted red potatoes! My wife really likes perch.

That is really cool, good job, my longest perch was 7" shorter.

I think a 16+ inch perch is longer than the State Record in Idaho at Cascade. Those perch are fattys though.
