Thanks to the Covey gang for coming out with us. It was a windy start, bucking 15 to 20 mph downlake wind and a driving rain. We hung in there, and had the wind lay down for us about 2 hours into our adventure. The bite stayed consistent at the Yacht Club and the guys did a great job keeping steady pressure on the fish while maintaining their balance. Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squidder, Worden's T4 LUCH Flatfish and Silver Horde's Ace Hi Flies did most of the damage today. Speeds of 1.4 to 1.6 allowed us to maintain some boat control and trigger fish.
