I traveled six hours to reach my destination at Conconully for my girlfriend's annual family camping trip. I hope I am posting for the correct area. I was fishing at what is known as the Conconully Upper Lake. I began fishing from the shore near the drainage area in the morning at about 7am and stopped at about 10 am. Not a single bite for me using different colors and combinations of power eggs. Very few people were catching fish.
I came back in the afternoon around 4pm til 7pm in the same spot. There were only few people where we were and we actually started catching some. My buddy caught a rainbow trout on a worm. It was about 16 inches. My girlfriend's dad and sister each caught one using orange power bait. I decided to switch to the orange and caught two 16 inch rainbow trouts in about 30 minutes. After that, nothing on our side again.
Fished a little bit more on Sunday morning before having to leave, but didn't catch a single thing. My girlfriend's dad did catch a few more Sunday using green power eggs.
Very few fish were feeding and apparently the water level was much higher than normal. I am no expert as this is only my second season of fishing, but even some people with boats weren't limiting out. I was expecting much better fishing on opening day especially for driving six hours one way.

No pictures right now, but if I can update this later today with a picture I will.
