We Launched at the WDFW ramp at 8:00am. The weather was nasty with white caps but since we were there we went anyway. The surface water temp. was 55.5 degrees. Despite fighting the wind and occaisional rain, we (two of us) kept 5 nice trout in the 14 inch range. One Koke and 4 Rainbows. Trolled at about 1.5 mph with spinner and strung on nightcrawler with about 1 to 2 oz. of weight. Used both ford fender and lake troll spinners. We fished about 4 hours and then the rain finally drove us out. The fish were caught on the west side by the hospital and the south end. No action at all north of the Island.
