Head back to the lake today and got one bass and lost five.Their still not spawning water still to cold all the fish i lost and caught today where on jigs.And I SAY AGAIN I RELEASE ALL BASS THAT I CATCH I SHOULD'T HAVE TO SAY I RELEASE EVERY TIME I POST. I RESPECT BASS FISH THIS IS A GAME FISH THAT BRINGS JOY TO ME AND EVERYBODY WHO CATCHES THEM.

Wouldn't condemn if you did. It's legal, and not especially harmful in lakes that can support decent populations. Don't know if anyone remembers Thompson lake many years ago, but it was full of bass. You could easily catch over 100 per day, but they were all stunted, under a pound. It's neat that you are a purist, and I turn most of mine loose, too. But I do take a very small percentage to eat. There will be those that condemn in every setting, but you are right: No one should have to defend legal behavior, or explain every time about the merits of C&R. It's a great movement, but not a religion.

I don't be leave there is a thing wrong with C.R. I been fishing all my life and I release what I'm suppose to and keep the rest
because I love to eat fish. Nice looking bass.
