From home I checked the weather for that area, the wind was blowing at 10mph with gusts to 24! That is windy for sure. Must have been trolling sideways most of the time?.

LOL Not quite trolling sideways, but, I did have to keep the juice to the motor while heading into the wind. LOL Lil jon boat, electric motor. The wind was out of the north and cold! The toon guy was moving fast up and down the lake, he had lots of hits but no CnR as of the moment I left. I hope he fared better after I left. I just looked at the map, looks like I was actually on Long Jim Reservoir...... oops! Gotta double check the regs now. LOL I picked Antilon thinking a smaller lake would offer a little protection from the wind. It was a real good day none the less. I launched about mid lake and later discovered there is a better looking launch area on the north end. A simple case of getting in the van and heading out just for the sake of getting the line wet, not a lot of fore thought as Wapato and Roses were my expected main show for the trip.

The only bad thing I saw about the lake, where I launched had at least a half dozen full large garbage bags, trash. Antilon and Long Jim Res have no special regs, >>>>>year round, state regs.
