I give it 5 stars based partly on my experience and partly on relatives there before me. After spending a horrible day of fishing on Blue Lake down the road I was told by my aunt and uncle they limited out on the opening day in just a few hours. I found this out around 3pm so we left blue lake and went to park lake. We only caught 3 fish between the 3 of us fishing for about 3 hours, but i missed about 6 bites besides those ones (biting light that day). Relatives caught them really well on two types of power bait. The first is the one that about 80% orange swirled with 20% light green. The second kind was the red white and blue swirled kind. We used assorted power eggs with garlic sent and they seemed work just about as well (no specific color for us, we used chartreuse, pink, bubblegum, yellow, white... i usually use two different colors and put them on about a size 6 egg hook). We had fun their. Cant emphasize enough how horrible blue lake was for the opener though.
