Been fishing Toad every chance I get in hopes of getting one of the triploids. Finally got my first one on, but it jumped and spit the hook. Between the girlfriend and I we caught five stockers and had many more bites. Toad is in a great setting and has become one of my favorite whatcom lakes. All fish were caught using to small split shot and a power egg. Released all but one that had taken the hook to far down. Just bought a bunch of circle hooks, hoping that will limit the amount we have to keep due to swallowing.
